Course description

This programme aims to provide talented postdocs and other promising researchers the skills and competences needed to develop a high quality research proposal to submit within the NWO Veni programme.
Course participants are researchers interested in applying for an NWO Veni grant in 2020 that will be carried out at Wageningen University.

Evaluation

Fee

1) Reduced fee: PhD candidates of Wageningen University with an approved Training and Supervision Plan (TSP) and post-docs of Wageningen University that are registered at one of the graduate schools of Wageningen (EPS, PE&RC, VLAG, WASS, WIAS, WIMEK) €750,-
2) Full fee: All other PhD candidates / post-docs as well as staff of Wageningen University €1000,-
3) Extended fee: All other participants €1500,-

Fee includes study and training material, coffee/tea and lunches.

Cancellation policy

You may cancel your registration at no charge until four weeks before the start of the course. After this date you will be charged the course fee. 

Exemption of payment:
If you can find someone to replace you in the course, you will only be charged a €100 cancellation fee. However, you must provide the course coordinator with the name and contact information of your replacement.

For PhDs and post-docs of Wageningen University: when you have a valid reason to cancel (i.e., circumstances beyond your control), you will be charged the reduced fee. In this case, your supervisor must provide the reason for cancellation in writing.
