Course description
Supervising EngD Candidates
Are you currently supervising an EngD candidate, or considering taking on this role in the near future? This session offers a concise and insightful introduction to the newly launched EngD programme at WUR.
An experienced supervisor and a recently graduated EngD candidate will share practical experiences, highlight common challenges, and offer tips to support effective supervision. You will also have ample opportunity to ask questions and exchange perspectives with colleagues.

12:00 - Arrival and registration
12:15 - Information sessions:
• Overview of the EngD programme
• Reflections from a WUR EngD supervisor
• Experiences from a recent EngD graduate
13:30 – Wrap-up and close
Time will be reserved for questions and discussion throughout.
